As Gigi’s boys spend more and more days with him on the mountain each year, the more first-hand R&D feedback he gets on our Splash board. Knowing the fundamental basics that turn kids off snowboarding –edge catches and unforgiving rides – Gigi’sput a number of features to help make snowboarding easy and accessible for kids.

With a soft and simple flex, the Splash helps initiate easy arcs and encourages proper foot control. Its mid-sidecut Traction Bumpmaintains edge hold from first turns to fast fall line riding. The twin tip shape offers a bed where freestyle moves can grow, and its rockered tips reduce edge-catch. The Splash now comes with a high-quality Sintered base to give best advancement of momentum. Our reliable Forever wood core can take on seasons to come, too.

CAMROCK: CamRock features a loaded camber section between the feet with a small flat section underfoot and rockered tips. The camber section maintains stability between the feet, while the flat areas underfoot let you load up ollies and the rockered tips offer forgiveness. This creates a very playful, easy turning board.

SINTERED BASE 600: Our Sintered quality base is fast, durable and requires less waxing. We believe in using the best possible materials in our boards.

BELT FINISH: The belt finish gets your base optimized before it’s fully waxed.

PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT: Our progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold. It’s different for each model and matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile.

ULTIMATE TRACTION: This small counter radius (bump) placed in the middle of the board’s sidecut improves edge hold without creating drag or strange edge grip. It adds extra bite on ice and turns regular turns into confident carves.

STEEL EDGES: We build our edges with 35% more steel content than the average. They are simply stronger and more durable than the alternative.

FACTORY WAXED: All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.

KICK STAND: Our Original Identity shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like rounded boards do!
